Sainsbury’s has withdrawn its Free From Mint Crisps with a ‘best before end' date of February 2012 and Celtic brand Caramel Choices with a ‘best before end' date of August 2011, because both products contain milk, which is not mentioned on the product labels.
This makes the products a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to milk. The Agency has issued an Allergy alert advising anyone with an allergy to milk to not eat these products.
The withdrawn products are:
Sainsbury's Free From Mint Crisps, 150g
Best before end: February 2012
Celtic Caramel Choices, 120g
Best before end: August 2011
