A Dr's appointment.

Rung for an appointment to see a Dr. "Sorry but you must ring before 8.0am." the receptionist said.
So I rang and rang the next morning before 8.00am. Engaged.
Later I rang and spoke to the receptionist. " Sorry fully booked for two weeks.
Please ring tomorrow before 8.00am and we may be able to fit you in.
Repeated proceedure. Engaged. Doh!
By the time they get me sorted out, I'll either be better or dead.

Tell them would it be in order to go to the hospital and say you've been refused treatment, this might get the desired effect.

Our health centre says you have ring after 8.0 am for a same day appointment with the doctor. Other appointments are after 9.0 am. I have rung early, the phone was answered speedily and I got the appointment!

I can book an appointment on the net, so I can see which doctor can see me when and that goes for the nurses as well
