The times I have looked for my reading glasses only to realise i am wearing them.

Do others do daft things like that?

Yes Mo. only this afternoon, we were having a cuppa in the lounge. As usual, I got up to go and lay the table ready for morning, and got to the door with only my cup in my hand, had forgotten to put it on the tray with the rest and almost got out before hubby said, what about the rest. Not to worry, it's an age thing. cheers Penny :grouphug:

Oh, Gawd, yes !!!!!! Walking upstairs, standing around, wondering what the duck I intended to do. Going back downstairs and instantly remembering.

Even more annoying, driving all the way to the post office to send a recorded delivery letter, or a parcel. And you guessed it. Forgetting to take the blasted thing. More than once.

Yes Mo its becoming a habit with my hubby.
He swears blind someone has shifted his ruddy glasses only to find he has them on already. :huffin:
Having said that I too can be forgetful. I went into the garage to the freezer the other day to get something out for dinner. I put the goods down while I shifted one or two items to make room for some more stuff when I came back from shopping and walked in the house without the stuff I had taken out of the freezer. It meant another journey out in the blasted cold to go and fetch it.
We are all guilty of it, even the young ones can be forgetful.

It's bad enough not being able to find the specs, but even worse when you can't see without them, it makes for an interesting hunt :rolleye11:

I wouldn't admit this anywhere but here.....
I was ordering some cat food from Amazon (it's cheaper and not easily availabel elsewhere)....for some reason I stopped. When I went back they had changed the issue quantity from 4 to 8. I was not going to be forced to buy more than I wanted, so stopped. Ranted to Trev about it - he checked on his acc. and said they must have changed it back as he could buy the original size.

So cross was I that he thought I was stupid that I went back on to Amazon...but now I had to buy 3 boxes at a time........I think you're probably ahead of me now......I had been adding it to my 'basket' each time....what a fool am I!!

Oh, I have done that, Carol, with books and other items. Bought an expensive edition of the Hitch Hiker's Guide that I coveted, only to find I had obviously coveted and bought the thing, before.

I have two duplicate Agatha Raisin books that I thought I hadn't read. Well they do keep changing the cover designs....that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. :rolleye11: :rolleye11: :rolleye11: :rolleye11:

I am SO glad there are others who've bought duplicates.
I was thinking I must be the only one so absent-minded as to do that.

Ah, blessed relief! :roflmao:
