Thoughts and Prayers

Postby dejavou » Sun Jan 30, 2011 11:35 am

Since the terrible news about Eve, I got to thinking about my suggestion of sending, prayers, positive vibes, love, whatever you choose to call it to her. Today I started reading a very thought provoking book called It's the Thought that Counts and I've found it interesting. If anybody is interested, have a look at this link Web Page Name

It made me think that if we all send our thoughts collectively at the same time, then maybe that would increase their efficacy .... well it can't do any harm surely

Anything that might help Deja. At worst it will do no harm. :grouphug:

My thoughts exactly Deja because I too was thinking the same thing this morning.
A group hug each day might help and if we can use our imagination and SEE Eve in the middle of us we can channel our thoughts and vibes to her.

Maybe the fact that you were thinking the same thought proves the theory, after all how else could we be on the same wavelength?

Perhaps everybody who wants to join in, could post a time suitable to them and we' ll go from there

All this week the afternoons will be better for me than the mornings. I am just back from church and lit candles for Eve and the family and her name was in the bidding prayers of the congregation.

Aaww that was lovely of you Viv. I only wish I could get out to do that but I send healing thoughts each night to Eve just before I settle down.

I dont mind what time of day it is that we get together as long as I am not at the hospital.
We have to think of those who are in a different time to us as well though because I bet they will want to join in.

I too think positive thought can help and what a good idea, especially when that person is so well loved and liked. I am just one hour ahead of you in the UK but I think it may be best for someone to set a time and then just get the nods that its ok for all?

How about 9pm in the evening UK time each night? that gives our International friends a reasonable time to join in with us (hope 10pm's not too late for you Corrie?

Not sure how to go about it, but I suppose as long as we all send positive thoughs to Eve together, whoever is listening up there won't mind if we are not following protocol. so perhaps if we concentrate on Eve's photo for five minutes whilst sending her healing thoughts .......... I read somewhere that lilac/purple is a healing colour (and Eve's favourite strangely) so maybe we can imagine her surrounded by a lovely lilac glow :grouphug:

Willing to try anything Deja and we can give it a go.
That time is OK for me but we will have to wait to see whether it will be suitable for others.
Will we be starting tomorrow because it will give those not in our time scale a chance to read what you have suggested?
