This wonderful lady is now approaching her 91st birthday and has been in showbiz since she was 8 years old. What an interesting life she must have had.
She's on the box tonight from 8-9pm and I'm realy looking forward to watching. Should be very good, I imagine.

We are going to record it - she was on Desert island Discs on Sunday - really interesting - what a life she had.
Just out of interest I took a friend out to lunch yestreday - it was her 91st birthday - she is as bright as a button, still drives locally and is very good company.
Is 90 the new 70 ???

A wonderful lady. I remember when I was little and our elder brother had her as one of his latest singers with Ann Shelton and Vera Lynn
It wasn't years and years ago when watching Corrie that I realised it was the same Betty Driver.
