A senior citizen

A senior citizen is someone. before the pill, television, frozen food, contact lenses and credit cards/

FOR US;
Time sharing meant togetherness, not holiday homes. A 'chip' was a potato or a piece of wood. 'Hardware', meant ironmongery and 'Software' wasn't even a word.

We got married first, then lived together. 'Cleavage' was something the butcher did. A 'stud' fastened a collar to a shirt and 'going all the way' meant staying on the bus right to the bus station.

We thought ' fast food; was eaten in Lent. A 'Big Mac' was an oversize raincoat. and 'crumpet' was eaten at tea time.

In our day, ' grass ' was mown, 'pot' was something you cooked in, and ' coke' was kept in a coal-house. A ' joint ' was cooked on Sundays.

We are a hardy bunch when you think how the world has changed.

cheers Penny. :grouphug:

One thing that I have noticed over the years is that waggon wheels have got smaller.
