I saw this today. Most of us may have alread heard there will be a few unusual dates this year. 1/1/11, 11/1/11, 1/11/11 and 11/11/11.

What is more strange is this: take the last two digits of the year you were born in plus the age you will be this year, and it will equal 111! Try it!

Only works this year (2011), and then only for people born in the last century. (eg born 2001, age this year 10, answer equals 11)

Next year the answer will equal 112 (or 12).

VM, I believe you are enjoying daytime sobriety now! Taking the age recorded below your avatar and assuming a birthday increasing it by 1 this year and adding it to 36 (assuming that was your year of birth) it comes to 111.

It is true vannin, strange but true. Seems 2011 causes quite a bit of a stir. I read my dental appointment to be Frid. 11 th February and was wrong. I rang the surgery to say how sorry I was about it and was told at least 20 others had made the same mistake. Should have read Friday, 4th February 2011. cheers Penny

It is not 1/1/11 or 11/1/11 - It is 1/1/2011 and 11/1/2011.

Makes a lot of difference
