Thankyou all for your kind posts Jann I am so very sorry to hear your hubbie is ill , I do hope he improves soon,you must be so worried.I realise it is an age thing with my son, just he can be so cutting at times.No idea what the problem was re phone, tried everything ,in the end just disconnected it & went to bed,still out this morning, I rang BT ,recorded message said they were closed for the holiday,but I rang again later & they said they would check it & by lunch time it was back on , but strangely soon after an engineer called to check my line indoors, he couldnt find any problem,so it all seems to be a puzzle
