OH has just gone for a chest specialist appointment at hospital, really do not know what is going on?? Oh! well! it will all come out in the wash--I guess. Big hug to you Penny from Dolly, and take care all xx

Good evening all.I have had Logan for a couple of hours, did he have fun.My new cleaner arrived while he was here,it came in a big box.The man put it in the hallway for me.Logan's eyes lit up when he saw the big box.Ok nanny I can take this for you.Well he was really helpful undoing the box and getting the cleaner out.
Next minute his tearing away and making some holes in the box its his house he said he was really enjoying it.He wanted to take it home but mummy said no.He didnt like that. :roflmao:

I haven't done much today except going to the shop and waiting for parcel delivery.I will be up bright and early in the morning hoovering with my new toy.

Hope your hubby has got on ok this afternoon.Dita.

I can just imagine the fun Logan had with that box, my grandchildren loved to climb in and pretend to hide. Pity mum would not let him take it home. Have to keep it until he comes again. Any news Dita,? Take care. cheers Penny,

Morning all. Had a little rain overnight but not too bad now.Anyone know what causes cramp. I had a dreadful night with such painful legs. Wondered what on earth started it. Went to a pub for lunch yesterday as recommended by someone to hubby. Twice as expensive as norm and bitterly disappointing. brought most of it home for birds. We are all waiting news Dita. Big hug for Dolly and same for little ones. cheers Penny.

Hi everyone thanks for your messages about my OH's troubles. I am completed baffled and so is he, infact I find it hard to talk about, his lungs are shot and his COPD is bad, he also has small black holes on both his lungs, there is a growth which they don't know what it is but it could be causing the black holes and he is unable to have anaesthetic to find out. So your guess is as good as mine, and his. He now has a nebuliser which we bought and so more medications are added to the long list of medications he already takes. I am past worrying because I could become a raving nutter quite easily, and if it weren't for my little dog. sister-in-law + my lovely son and family who live too far away, also friends, neighbours and folk like yourselves who keep me going I would have gone under years ago. So there you are that is it we all have our cross to bear and that's mine, my sense of humour also helps. Hugs from Dolly and me xxxx

Poor Dita, you have all our sympathy, bad enough when you know what the trouble is. Good for Dolly looking after you. OH has just taken my car for its MOT.We were planning to pop down to the canal and lake to feed the ducks etc, but sky has become dark all of a sudden. Will see when OH returns. Take care all, cheers Penny

Thanks Penny. I just take every day as it comes nowadays, no good moaning and groaning about stuff, the real thing is how you deal with it and I do my best :) Give them ducks a feed for me xxx

No idea what causes cramp, Penny, but we used to have a neighbour who maintained it could be cured/prevented by having used corks in your bed. (I've never tried it but always suspected that the wretched corks were so uncomfortable you'd just forget about having cramp!)

Dita, I'm sorry your poor OH is no "forrarder" with knowing what ails him. Your description sounds horrible but I hope the new meds will help a bit. As you say, little point in worrying. There seems to come a time when it's actually less stressful to sit back and accept the buckets of brown stuff that are being chucked over you. :bighugs: and a woof to Dolly Dog.

Dita, my thoughts are with you and your OH. I hope the new prescription will benefit a recovery- some of the medications, if not all, are sure to help in bringing him relief.

Maggie, I have to smile when I picture Logan with 'his' box! Today I took delivery of a set of kitchen Teflonware, only ordered yesterday. The box is a comfortable Trixie-size, so the cat's eyes lit up as soon as she saw it! Not too log ago it would have been Charlie if they had been visiting.

Right now, Trixie is fast asleep in it. She is like most cats, I suppose, happy to sleep in different places every day and every night.

Wish I could see Trixie in her box, my old cats used to love them, must make them feel safe and secure. Will try B12 again, thank you. Hope everyone is well today, lovely and sunny here. Might be off to feed the ducks etc. Last time we had swans, ducks, and a heron plus others I can't name. Take care all and enjoy today. Sausages in cider for lunch, one of OH and my favourites. Big hug for Dolly and same for little ones, cheers Penny

Hi everyone, I do thank you all for your kindness----that bit about the brown stuff Andere was something I really understood--thanks:) it happens. When that blooming cramp hits Penny its agony, hope it eases soon sciatica is another one that is hard to shift Grr!. So amusing to imagine little Logan with his box and it seems both he and Trixie had similarly thought on seeing it---love it. Had to walk up our towns high street this morning to the bank---must be a couple of years since our last visit, it is dreadful most of the shops have closed apart from phone, charity, pound, cheap cafes and bakeries, I was pleased to get home again and hopefully wont have to go back for another couple of years. Hope you enjoyed your lunch Penny sounds good. Big hugs from Dolly and me-will be in the garden later if anyone are interested xxx

Good afternoon from me.

Sorry to hear your hubby's news Dita.Hope he finds he can breathe better with his nebuliser.I found the neb was better than squirting a inhaler.

Well.I have just used my new cleaner,it is a lot lighter than the old dyson. Not so noisy.I started on my bedroom first. And what did I pick up on the rollers?A sock.So I unplugged the Cleaner and tugged a sock out.Machine smelt a bit so letting it rest now.
I need to do jobs like that in the morning while my lungs are feeling happy. :roflmao:

Hope you have a nice hour or so at the canal Penny.Pity you can't put pics on here with your ducks.

Has come over cloudy here now.I have kept the box that Logan was playing with.Daughter in law said throw it away, but I had told him I keep it for him.
Enjoy whatever you are upto this afternoon.

p.s.Noddy would like to meet someone and get married for company. Not for me.
