Why do people jump to the conclusion that a walking stick means you have a disability but if you do not have a walking aid nothing is wrong with you ? On an outing today my friend & I headed to the toilets ,which were porta cabins with steps up, one of the guides said to my friend that as she had a walking stick she wouldnt be able to get up the steps & suggested she use the disabled one inside, she then said to me that as I didnt have a walking stick I wouldnt be able to go to that one .This really annoyed me as I do have a disability,I was able to say to the guide that I do have a card to say I have a disability. When we got to the disabled toilets we found loads of people without a visible disability queuing up to go in.Two of my sons friends are registered Partially sighted , yet seldom use a stick
