Tesco recalls own-brand yeast extract

Tesco has voluntarily recalled several lot numbers of its own-brand yeast extract on a precautionary basis, because of possible high levels of histamine. If you have bought this product, please do not eat it. The Agency has issued a Product Recall Information Notice.

The product being recalled is:

Tesco Yeast Extract, 225g
'Best before' end September 2014; codes 3070, 3071, 3072, 3073, 3074
'Best before' end November 2014; code 3142
'Best before' end December 2014; code 3162

The date code can be found on the lid of the product.
