Yekta Foods recalls Sommak spice because it contains illegal dye

Yekta Food Ltd has recalled its Sommak spice because it contains two illegal dyes known as Orange II and Sudan. The FSA has issued a Product Recall Information Notice. Orange II and Sudan dyes are red dyes that are used for colouring solvents, oils, waxes, petrol and shoe and floor polishes.
