The Wine Society is recalling The Society's Prosecco wine because the bottles might shatter. If you have bought the product, do not drink it. The FSA has issued a Product Recall Information Notice.

The product being recalled from customers is:

Product: The Society’s Prosecco
Bottle size: 75cl
Lot number: L15S051, L15S092, L145322 (the lot number can be found ink-jetted on the bottle neck just below the gold rim of the foil capsule)

This product has been sold via mail order only. The Wine Society has records of all customers that bought the product and has contacted them by letter and email to tell them why the product has been recalled.
