They don't seem to be very fashionable. You never see younger folk wearing one..

To blazes with fashion!! I have several and wear them when I feel the need. They're almost all light weight, lacy knitted and quite long (bum length) although my favourite is a big Arran knit one that's so warm I rarely need to wear it, certainly not indoors.

I have quite a few of different sizes and designs, I don't give a fig about what is in fashion as long as I am warm and comfy.

I wear then wether they are fashionable or not.I have a few lightweight ones and nice and warm ones.I don't do chilly.

Yes I wear them too.Sod keeping up with fashion. At my age you need to keep warm.
