Seeing fashion in today's paper. Slacks all torn and big holes in knees. Would you wear them?. Cheers Penny

Paying out good money for rags. Talk about brainwashing the younger generation. My granddaughter has some too.
Years ago anything in that condition would be cut up to make rag rugs.
I wonder what would be said if an old biddy like me wore them. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I had thought about putting a mini skirt on Penny just to attract Pooh but I cant even bend down now to put tights on and I cant wear a mini without my tights. :roflmao: :roflmao:
You should see the bloody performance each day when trying to put my knee highs on. I have to rest in the recliner for 30 minutes to regain my breath. :roflmao: :roflmao:

Dita Are you trying to get me fixed up. :roflmao:
The only bugger that can do that is the mortician.
As for pulling things on, Gawd Almighty it takes me all my time now to do a button up so can you just imagine what performances there would be doing anything else.
Methinks Pooh would be better with what he has chosen. No telling what condition he will be in though after they have finished with him. :roflmao: :roflmao:

I had some jeans like this until quite recently. They were about 30 years old and just worn out with frayed edges, rips at the knees and thighs but I kept them for "grotty" jobs, like clearing house junk and going to the tip. I chucked them out in the spring when I got a rip right across one buttock and felt the world didn't need to have sight of my pants.
I put them in the bin but maybe I should have tried selling them on e-bay?

That reminds of of the day I stopped a lad in the street and helpfully pointed out that his trainer laces were undone. He looked at me as if I was an alien from another galaxy and said 'they're supposed to be undone', and shuffled on his way. It was the first time I was aware of feeling old - and I must have been about 35 at the time!
