Snake on her Face

On our news there was a story about an American woman who rang her emergency serviceto say she had a boa constrictor stuck to her face and it had bitten her nose, the emergency services got there quickly and managed to free her,she begged them not to kill the snake but I think they had to .Apparently the woman keeps snakes and had rescued this one recently. Did anyone else see this ?
