Which potatoes

Been doing a survey for a while to see which potato I would prefer. Morris Piper came out tops. Only one I think not too good was when I did bake in their skin. .... Taste the Difference ...frozen chips are superb. Lovely big hunky chips. Do you have a favourite? CheersPenny

Maris Piper, Pentland Javelin and Estima are my favourites, plus, of course, Jersey Royals for a few short weeks in early summer.
Can't abide Cara: nasty, tasteless things.

Maris Piper are the commercial favourites, so we have been convinced we like them.

You'll go a long way to beat King Edwards as a good all rounder.

I like Desiree, Home Guard but my favourite of all is Epicure, but it has such a short season.

King Ted's are a lovely potato but only those home grown. Gave up shop ones ages ago. Think I will move near and share yours Dita. Meanwhile, Morris Piper. Cheers Penny
