I just cook for my OH really, I have a very small appetite since tummy problems and rarely feel hungry, despite my age I still do my own cooking which is mainly Roasts, Stews and basic old fashioned food. You are very lucky that preparations for your meals are no problem despite him having his serious health condition Carol.

Tony's Alzheimers is still at the mild/moderate stage dita. As the illness progresses he may no longer be able to do these things but for now he manages fine.

I love food - preparation, cooking and eating. I ought to be the size of a house, really! Often, it's the really simple things I enjoy the most: sausages and buttery mash; cream cheese slathered on new bread; taking all the odds and ends of left over veg and dumping them in a pot with some herbs to make soup.
