Aldi meat.

I roasted a joint of beef from Aldi in my slow cooker yesterday.

Beef can be very hit or miss - even in a slow cooker. This was superb. Unbelievably tender and full of flavour.

Highly recommended.

Nice to hear your meat was good, but Im fed up hearing what a wonderful shop Aldis is.My friend is always singing their praises, how cheap they are ,how nice their food. A s their goods are not well known brands I am not convinced that their prices are cheaper than supermarkets own brands, if you were to buy like for like ,supermarkets oown brand V Aldis own brand it would likely be the same or that food bought there any nicer than anywhere else. Of course there will be some things better , same as any store, its swings and roundabouts, one store has offers of one item another store offers a different item
