I had a phone call this afternoon from my Doctors surgery and the receptionist asking me if I would be in tomorrow morning. I was rather surprised about the query and said that I would be BUT why did she want to know. She then said that if it was OK with me Doctor Foster would pop round to give me my flu injection.
Is this a new idea?

I must say that it DID take me by surprise because it has NEVER happened before. I was a bit wary of it to be honest and I have just phoned a friend who works at the surgery and it is genuine for anyone disabled and has difficulty getting around. That put my mind at rest BUT she is going to point it out to the head doctor tomorrow that it would perhaps be better to inform folks beforehand with a letter.
