Martin Kemp locally!

I am treating myself next week, to a matinee performance at Wycombe Swan, of Million Dollar Quartet. Martin Kemp has the lead role! It is nine years since I went to the theatre, taken by a friend to see Calendar Girls, when I was grieving. It helped a lot.

David and I used to go at least four times a year always.

Wow that sounds just like the sort of thing I'd enjoy. Unfortunately it looks as though the tour ends in November. It must have been & gone in my area without me knowing.

Have a great time Viv. x

Once my ears adjusted, I loved every minute of it. Apart from all the favourite oldies (music!) the energy was tremendous. This being the matinee, they have to do it all again this evening!

I took another plunge yesterday and booked the four of us at the panto on Boxing Day, Jack and the Beanstalk. Jack to be played by Simon Webbe, the velvet voice. Claire fully approves!

I'm glad you enjoyed the show Viv and sorry I missed it in my area.

My consolation is I'm off to the theatre myself on Weds to see 'Beautiful' the Carole King musical. I've heard it's good.
