Watch your electric bills.

Postby Maywalk » Sat Oct 07, 2017 6:36 pm

I have had an electric bill that was going to charge me nearly a £1.000 TOO much. It seems to have happened since the blasted smart meter has been put in. Its taken my lovely d-i-l who is my POA nearly threequarters of an hour on the phone this morning getting it sorted out.
Got to wait now for the bill to come to replace the heart stopper.

And that's why I will never pay utility bills by Direct Debit.

Even having the meter read by the energy company I once had a bill for £20K!

Hi Carol.
Yes she is a godsend.
I asked them if I was paying for the bloody street and I wanted it sorting out then and there.
I left it then to my d-i-l she has a bit more patience than me. Makes me wonder how many more bills they have sent out to different folk that are wrong.
