just before Christmas I went to a womans wear stall ,wanting to buy a blue cardigan, but all colours were grey/brown/ biege,so I asked when they would get blue in,only to be told that these were the winter shades, blues were summer and would not be in for a while

I wonder who makes these decisions about what's in and what's not? Years ago, I had an unexpected invite to a rather smart dinner & dance. It was June and I needed something to wear that would be useful on other occasions, too. I went into a vast dress shop on Oxford Street and told the saleswoman I was looking for a "little black dress". She looked at me pityingly and informed me I should come back in October because that was winter stock! I went elsewhere and bought the perfect little black dress.
Lavonne, have a look at debenhams.com or jdwilliams.co.uk or damart .co.uk - plenty of blue cardigans about.
