Got two Cod in parsley sauce from the fridge dept. in Sainsbury's, I am not keen on fish but must say it was very acceptable. Take 20 mins. to oven cook from chilled. OH loved it and says he is getting some more for the freezer. Thought it might suit some.

cheers Penny :grouphug:

I was fancying some cod in parsley sauce when I was in Sainsburys the other day but came away without any as there was none in the freezer.
I never thought to look in the fridges ... I shall be getting some next time I go ... Thanks Penny.

Too many people condemn all pre-prepared meals out of hand, but if you are a bit selective there are some good meals available

Sinsbury Taste the Difference are often good as is the M&S Gastro Pub rand theor Indian range.

The "Cook" range re particularly good, though you may have to hunt for them in a specialist store. Ir you find them try the Chicken and Asparagus Bake!

The secret with pre-prepared meals is always use the conventional oven, not the microwave, if it's available
