If only I could have my way, I wonder what I'd do.
Perhaps I'd laze about all day or sit and drink and chew.
Perhaps I'd be a writer of books and super poems
that would shock the world of all the comings and goings.
I might one day make it known that starting war is useless,
for soon as one is over, some idiot starts another.
I might be able to spread the word that love will top the charts
Just think of all the joy to come, no more broken hearts.
If only.....
