May I say Marie - it's so good to see you posting. As one of my very first cyber friends on the old Age-net I often wonder how you are.
Do you think you & Tony will manage to get away this year?

I'm never far Carol, I don't post much on facebook but do watch for the three of you. It's such a shame about the passport but this weekend will help.
We went there for five days last September but it wasn't up to the year before's standards and this year I'm hoping Tony can go to Keilder Forest for a week
they'll take him bird watching so he can use his camera and he'll be able to go on the water if he wants and go to different places round about. Keilder is a huge
reservoir in Northumberland and they have a site that specialises in disabled holidays with full support. Even action holidays. I hold him back because I just can't keep up.

We're going to take him up one day when it gets warmer and let him look around and see what he thinks but as long as he's out he's happy and he likes to meet new people
and see new places. He's very fit in himself but he can't stand or walk around apart from staggering to the bathroom or bedroom with his walking frame. We took him to try
a power chair one of the slimmer ones that he could move round the house in. He wouldn't have one because he has lost all his confidence he just wants to be pushed around.
I thought he did wonderfully well with the one he tried but his motorised scooter was just used twice and he wouldn't use it again so I didn't push.

Enjoy your walk I walked along the front and back twice last year I love to watch the sea.
