Now-a-days it seems to last for ever, wonder what they put in it, but there is a date on it,

Most of what I buy is dated for about 6 or 7 days ahead but it often lasts for longer if it's been carefully kept.

Usually at least 5 days from day of purchase.

I use Cravendale because it lasts a bit longer, it says seven days from opening on the bottle, I think it lasts longer than that.

All the milk I buy is in the freezer first - I only realised about ten years ago I could freeze it. Then it goes in the fridge when ready to use it, following de-frosting.

Thanks all. Looks like trial and error.
With only two, sometimes three cups of tea a day a litre lasts me about a week! Best I start with half litres I think.
