So true Maywalk,also in 1963 big freeze from Dec.to March,traffic couldnt get down side roads so no delivery of anything ,no buses runningshortage of coal ,my Mother & I used to walk the streets looking for any bits of coal/coke that had dropped off somewhere

We're still snowed in here on the Notts/Derbys border ... Another day of cleaning cupboards & drawers out.
When I get bored I'll do some internet shopping. :lol:

Snowing here again now and it is laying very quick.My kitchen windows are frozen from the freezing rain we had this morning.Stay in and keep warm is the best for today.

Exactly six o clock and just stopped. Nothing moving. Son had to leave his office early. said roads are in a dreadful icy state and he could scarely brake.So be careful anyone going out. cheers Penny
