Some of you may remember Kenneth who used to post graphics on another forum.
His speciality was taking a still picture of water and making it ripple. He was also a talented organist. Aah bless him - it was a long time ago now.

I've received an email from his son & daughter earlier this evening to say Ken had passed away.
Below is copy of the email.

R.I.P. Kenneth.

Dear all

Forgive the email... but we thought we should advise that our dad, (Ken) died on the 8th March in the Hospice at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead.
My apologies if we have included you in this email inappropriately.... but we searched through his email contact list and have bccd all.

If you feel other friends should be advised please forward on.
We will be deleting his email account ..... etc, at the end of April.

Regards

Mr G Beattie
Mrs C Bostwick

I remember him, really thought it was clever the way those pictures moved,
it is nice when family think of telling 'internet' friends about things like that,

I haven't seen Monica in a long time. We were friendly when she used to go to my aqua class but she dropped it off and we lost touch.
I did send her and email of condolence when I heard the sad news and she responded to thank me.

It was through me that they got together.
I introduced Monica to age-net and that is where she met Ken ... I think it was the only romance age-net ever had.
They had a good thing going - neither wanted to uproot from their homes so Monica would go to Tyneside to stay a fortnight with Ken and he would come back with her & stay 2 weeks in Derbyshire. Monica loved where Ken lived - only 5 minutes from the sea and I think Ken liked the lovely countryside of Derbyshire. They made it work in spite of the distance.

I still remember his stories called 'When I was young' published on age-net. Brilliant tales of his childhood - I read everyone of them.

A talented man who will be missed by many.
