Garage roof

Remember a short time ago, talking roof repairs. The firm that was asking 3.000 pounds plus extras. Well, OH happened to check registered Co's and found the one who did the same roofing here about 4O years ago. The came, gave us a estimate of under 3.000 pounds, we booked them on the spot. The had the Skip delivered on Monday, arrived at 8.a.m. Tuesday and are just packing up. They have done a superb job, OH went to look and said so smooth he could use as snooker tables. Thought I would pass this on in case anyone is in need ... Called Avant-guarde. Roofing specialists. I must agree with him, they didn,t stop at all, one ate a sandwhich whilst one kept on, then swapped. Not a bit of mess anywhere. All we have to wait for now is for the skip to be collected. Understand they are in Southampton tomorrow. Very popular. Can honestly say it is many many years since I saw such devoted workers. cheers Penny

Sounds as if all is well and job finished Penny, that's something else off your mind now, that roof has been a thorn in your side a while now. Thankgoodness that there is still some decent firms around that are conscientious about their work.

They're just the sort of tradesmen we all hope to find and, sadly, all too often don't. I bet you're glad the job's done in view of this appalling weather. Will this constant rain ever stop? (But I bet, if we do eventually get 2 fine days together, there'll be a hosepipe ban in place by early June!)
