I realise it's 'Just not cricket old chap'

Each time I turn on the TV news, there is another Australian sportsman blubbing into the camera. Enough already, we know you let everyone down' Time to man up and face the music.

I feel really sorry for the Aussie fans! Two of the best players in the world stooped to this!
Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.

why the dickens cheat in the first place

Money.

When the sponsors move in, sportsmanship moves out.

The individual is almost certainly on a bonus for every wicket he takes, and the team on a good bonus if they won.

They've got a living ton earn and not many years in which to do it.

And how stupid to do the deed with the world's cameras looking on, so millions witnessed it :magnify:

Highly (over?) paid "celebs in the public eye are not known for their perspicacity!"

Call me cynical if you like but I have long believed that no activity can accurately be described as "sport" from the first moment anyone gets paid for doing it.

They should go into acting they could win an Oscar, and they are still cheating now by pretending to be heartbroken.
