In today's paper, think it is lovely.

Ding, Dong, Dell
Pussy isn't well
I'll take him to the vet,
But please don't tell him yet.
It makes his hackles rise
When he's taken by surprise,
And every rising hackle
Is like a rugby tackle.

cheers Penny :grouphug:

Very true! Thank you for the smile-inducement, Penny. I dread visits to the vet when the beloved ball of fur turns into a yowling monster. The vet is a lovely woman who showers love on her patients even when they attack her. I envy my friend;s daughter who lives in Canada, with cats and has a vet who is always happy to visit at home.....

My youngest daughter, Kelly, and her family have two British Shorthair cats which were taken along for a family photo shoot. Everything was fine until the cats were taken out of their carriers for the parents to hold while the family’s photos were being taken..... I know, a brave (stupid) decision !

At the first flash of the camera the cats took off and the next 30+ minutes were spent taking the studio apart, finding the cats and getting them back in their carriers. :rolleye11:

Luckily the photographer was a very good family friend.
