I was interested in this product. I thought it would be just the thing for when I cook fish & other smelly foods.

I was assured it really works.

Has anybody else used it?

Never tried it Carol so I cant comment. It will be interesting to find out.

I just burn normal candles and does the trick,or like a matchstick.

That doesn't work for me Janet - especially when I cook fresh fish!!

I agree, an ordinary candle does it for me.

You could try a mildly scented one, like cedar or sandalwood, Carol. You could also try some incense sticks, or smoke a bit of weed!

You could also try experimenting with your cooking oil. I use rapeseed, which is not only local but supposedly healthier than olive oil.

I don't think it was Prices but I was given a similar candle, years ago. I'm not a great scented candle enthusiast so probably the wrong person to comment but, to my mind, all it did was produce a heavy herbal scent which mingled with the food smells, a bit like we'd all been smoking dope after dinner! I chucked the thing out and reverted to opening a window.

I just open a window and let the smell go out that way.

Candles are a no no when you've got COPD so it has to be good old-fashioned fresh air for me.
