What's wrong with IE?

With IE - I can't view videos - all I get is a black screen!
ITV Hub won't work for me.
and now since yesterday I can't load face-book scrabble!!
When I change to Google Chrome all the above things work perfectly.
Hurrah for Google Chrome.
Can anybody explain why IE is such rubbish for me?

I stopped using IE years ago I always use Chrome. I have Microsoft Edge as well but it isn't as good as Chrome either.

I'm so pleased I tried Chrome ... It was driving me mad!!

I will use anything that's NOT IE!
Mostly, I use Chrome but Firefox, Opera, Startpage are all OK. I have Edge on the laptop but I think I've used it twice. Not impressed!

Like others, anything but IE. Have never used it since getting connected in tn 1991.
Started off withe Netscape, then Firefox then Chrome, with occasional forays into Opera and Safari!
IE has away been too intrusive for me.
