Parents at School gates

Postby lavonne » Wed May 30, 2018 8:41 pm

When my sons were at school parents had to wait outside the school gates , now I see them going into the school for their child,Surely in these days with so much fears of terrorism & kidnapping rules should be tighter?

A good point, but can I just put another point?

As a wheelchair user I find large groups of parents, some with buggies, on the pavement difficult to negotiate.

It must be said, in this context, that such mothers, not the fathers, are as a general rule, the only group who rarely show consideration for a chair, and frequently show their exasperation and impatience,
