While we're there we hope to go walks in Sherwood forest and I've booked a session with the birds of prey which I hope Tony will like.

Sorry I didn't know I was going to ruffle feathers by my suggestion on the suggestion forum.. Not my intention at all.

Anyway, whether we get a new forum or not I am past caring now what the threads are called!

Thorsby hall is only just over the border in Nottinghamshire so it's not a long drive.
We aim to get there for room check in at 3.00pm. Tony will have a rest in the room & I'll go for a swim in the pool.

We've been there loads of times - love it.

Gives me a chance to wear my posh frocks too.
