Anyone know anything about this large coin looking badge. It Has on one side- Reward. For good conduct and advance in learning from the Catholic School Committee.

Other side = A lovely lady holding a baby and little ones kneeling beside her.
The words round
..... Mary Admirabills Monstra Te Esse Matrem.

. Also a small silver neck hanging one. Congregation of the Children of Mary.one side and over is Monstra Te Esse Matrem.

I was a Child of Mary in the distant past at Convent boarding school, Senior girls are admitted if their conduct is exemplary at all times. What a po-face that sounds. :cheeky4: I have changed.

The medal you describe must have been awarded to one more exemplary po-face than the others.I must have a think about a couple of the Latin words, memory is dimming.

" Mary most admirable, demonstrate that you are a mother" is the translation. The lady holding the baby represents Mary with Jesus.
