My toys.

I just have the three toys.

The sheep I brought from a holiday in Wales - something about it appealed to me.

Micky Mouse is a nightdress/pyjama case - I got him from Disneyland Paris.

The dolly is called 'Senorita' - I got her from Benidorm market for my mum who was suffering from dementia - she loved her. Later on Taylor fell in love with her and we dressed he up as a honorary bridesmaid when Ady & Paula got married. Taylor carried the doll instead of flowers ... Senorita is back with me now & here she'll stay.

So do you have any toys?

My spare bedroom has two single beds both covered in toys. One are toys I knitted the other is huge teddies and dolls. Keep trying to get rid but my granddaughter wants them all. At least I can keep them behind closed doors.

My two bears, the one on the left must be over 50 years old, he belonged to an Aunt of mine that died in 1980.

I cannot put a pic of it on but it is in loft packed in my treasure case. It is my china doll Cynthia May, she has a repair on her head when I dropped her on our brass fender during the war, she is still dressed in the clothes my Mum knitted for her, I treasure her very much. I also had a grey floppy-eared rabbit which Mum bought for me, I have a pic of me dragging it about with its ear. Unfortunately my OH gave it to the dog and it got so chewed I threw it away, I have ever forgiven him and never will---and he knows :) Grr!

I'd love to see them Dita.
I could put a picture of them on here for you if you could attach them to an email & send it to me. :)

This was my main toy that is now over 88 years old.
I did not get to play with it until I came out of the Sisters-of-Mercy home in 1936 but it went all through the London Blitz and just had a chipped spout on the tea pot and a cracked cup that was glued together.
Ironic and extremely sad really to think that the teaset survived the horrors of that war and my little friend got killed.
Where was this so called GOD who took my friends life but left a toy tea set?

It now takes pride of place in my d-i-ls unit and was brought out as you can see above for my 80th birthday.
