6. Were these banned subjects from use by comedians on the radio during that time? The BBC had long lists of the most innocuous subjects banned by the straight-laced corporation and were taboo.

I wracked my brains trying to find some connection, then it suddenly dawned regarding lodgers and honeymoon couples. Somebody (Lord Reith?) must be turning in their grave as to what gets sanctioned these days.
