A 'Feelgood' Factor

Postby laurie53 » Wed Sep 12, 2018 9:13 am

I've got a lovely smiling sunflower just come into bloom in one of my garden pots.

I didn't sow it, so it must have come from birdseed, but nevertheless welcome for all that.

One of those things with an instant "feelgood" factor, like dolphins.

I like sunflowers, Laurie and sketched one out ready to start painting today. I'm aiming for a loose image and I'll post it on hobbies when I've finished it.

Just hope I can do it justice and also get that feel good factor!

I love sunflowers, too and often buy a bunch in season to cheer up my hallway. I was just saying to my gardener the other day that I want to grow some in both front and back gardens next summer. At the back to make me smile and the front to cheer up passers by. A surprise sunflower is, indeed, a bonus. :sunglasses:

I agree with you about Mamma Mia. Still does and I've seen it three times!

It's funny what triggers it. I remember when I saw the first Harry Potter film, well into my 70s. Sat there with a smile on my face from the opening credits to the last.
