I was gazing at the view through my kitchen window this morning & thought I'd use it to start a thread.

We all have kitchens - what's the view like through yours?
Photo's please if possible. :)

PD, they're lovely!

The only view from my kitchen is of our very boring drive and the side of next door's house so I'm not going to post that!

Mine is of the houses and cars, plus rotten waste bins that have now been placed in the front of the bungalow opposite, so not over exciting.

Pooh they are absolutely gorgeous AND I am not surprised that you have problems with your chest but if they give you pleasure that is all that matters.
You are evidently well up on birds and I would like to know what little birds have an orange chest. I know what a robin looks like but the one I have coming to the birdtable has an ORANGE breast and is a little bit bigger than a robin. Could it be a finch.?

I hope we get some nice views on here.
I can see that yours is your garden Carol and it looks very nice too.

I would oblige if I knew how to post a picture, Carol.

It's a nice rural view, very vivid a few years ago when I could see 38, yes that's right 38 fields of rape in bloom !

Maisie....I don't spend hours in my birdroom like a pigeon fancier...my hobby is observing my birds from without,I don't breathe in dust and feathers all day.My birds have large aviaries to exercise in and roost indoors at night.
Your visitor sounds like an escapee....possibly a weaver or canary. You like colourful birds?...you would like my gouldian finches....

Pooh how do you clean the cages.? Surely you have to go in them to put food in and clean them out.?
I love them but if I was anywhere near them I would be fighting for breath.

That gouldian finch is a beauty. Have you got many ?
