It's all in this picture. She was so beautiful inside & out.

Sorry to disagree, but she was a blonde bimbo, in the truest sexist terms who always had her eye on the main chance, and who never so much as blinked without first working out what was in it for Diana.

Her beauty was only ever skin deep, Carole.

No-one who stalked an eminent doctor to distraction after he terminated their affair, or who embarked on so many affairs would I consider inwardly beautiful.

Those two boys loved their mother with all their hearts - and I find it very sad that they have had to hear some dreadful truths about her in their adult years.
If at first you don't succeed, sky diving isn't for you!

She was insecure & unhappy and she couldn't always control her emotions. I think it made people love her more because she was human.
She touched the hearts of the people in a way no other Royal ever has.

All Diana ever dreamed of was to be a wife & mother. It wasn't her fault the dream ended and everything that followed..

We'll have to agree to disagree in a civilised manner I think.

She was, is, a Marmite person - you love her or hate her.

I have to join Laurie side on this. I thought Charles is the one hard done by. Partly of course, by his own lack if determination and letting himself be pushed into it.
Civilisation is a veneer, easily soluble in alcohol.

She was desperately unhappy - it does not deter from her basic inner goodness & beauty.

Beauty I'll grant, goodness I won't.
