Let there be light

We had a new kitchen installed last month and to finish it off we decided to get rid of the spotlight and replace with a pendant fitting. We had to buy a plaster ceiling rose to hide the flaws from the removal and our youngest came yesterday to do the job for us. It all looks very nice now but the nicest thing is the light it gives. Instead of switching on the light and being in something akin to a bat cave, it's wonderful now; no dark corners anymore.

What with my SAD lamp and now my bright kitchen , I should have the Winter Blues well and truly beaten.
