I have received this message from Lavonne's son. I am so sorry to be the bearer of such sad news.

This is Yvonne's son Paul. Sadly Yvonne passed away in hospital on the 30th October.

She went into hospital at the beginning of October due to her COPD. Whilst in hospital she fell and broke her hip (15 Oct). She had a hip replacement but this coupled with a chest infection lead to a deterioration in her health.

I am dreadfully sorry to read this. My sympathy to her son.

Poor Lavonne; she had a pretty rough time the last couple of years and I'm saddened that it ended this way. I shall miss her pithy comments and send my best wishes to Paul as he grieves. Sleep well, Lavonne.
