I've done it too laurie.

I've done it lots too,even when washing up with dressing gown on.So annoying getting a wet cuff.

My sleeve was filled to the elbow!

I did that the other day Laurie but mine was a rubber glove that I put on to cover the dressing that was put over the cat wounds.
I rarely use rubber gloves but I thought if I put it on it would keep the dressing dry but it was loose at the top.
NOT a very good idea.
Took ruddy ages for the dressing to dry out.
Had a new dressing on today and got to go again on Friday.

In Napoleonic times the medical advice was always to keep dressings , from sabre cuts and musket balls to amputations, wet.

I don't have that problem I catch mine on the door handle. Usually when I'm carrying a cup of coffee.

Been there and done that too!

An even more ridiculous one is when the belt loop on your dressing gown catches on the door handle, stopping you dead in your tracks with a fully loaded breakfast tray!

I will have to remember that when I have another sabre cut or amputation.
