Christmas Bonus

Postby laurie53 » Sat Dec 15, 2018 11:10 am

Had an email earlier in the week saying that Asda will be sending me a £40 Christmas hamper on Thursday.

Isn't that nice of them, particularly as I am not really a regular customer?

It'd be even nicer if they did it in the form of vouchers so you could get stuff that you really like/want as opposed to whatever they choose to supply. Presumably, as you're not a regular, they're hoping this will entice you into becoming one.

To be fair, a photo of a van being loaded with pensioners goodies makes a better story than a bundle of vouchers being posted. I also have no doubt their some low lives wound steal their granny's vouchers to sell for drugs down the local pub.

Anything I don't want or can't use/freeze will be straight down to the food bank.
