Floating on air.

Postby Maywalk » Thu Jan 03, 2019 4:28 pm

Well I am hoping that I get a decent nights sleep tonight because I have had my air mattress delivered that fits on my recliner. I cant sleep in bed because with the pins breaking in both hips I cant get in it or out easily if I need the loo, but with the recliner it helps me up and I can also get in a better position because of having to sleep on my back all the time.
My son and d-i-l came to fix it on before lunch for me and when they had gone I settled in the recliner and cant remember any more because I was well in the land of nod.
Just keeping my fingers crossed that it takes the pressure off the base of my spine. I was not fully stretched out earlier but it was not so painful as I got up.

Has anyone else got one? Just wondering how they get on with theirs and if it has helped.

No knowledge of these at all, Maisie but your early experience sounds promising. Sleep tight!

Keeping my fingers crossed folks as long as it takes the pressure off the bottom of my spine because it is SO sore.
Oh Boy this growing old business can be a bind at times.

Hi Carol
Well its the first time in two years since I woke up without my a--e having the headache.
I slept well too although I did have to get up once to go to the loo but I soon settled down again.
I am usually ruddy sore and uncomfortable for quite a while after getting up and its heaven to be without ruddy pain at the bottom of my spine this morning.
If this carries on it will be worth the money.
