Just had a message from the person who is helping to organise the Great Central WW2 weekend in May/June asking me if I would go and talk to the schoolchildren that will be there of my evacuee days.
She said she will pick me up and bring me back.
I said it would be a pleasure if I am still here.
She has asked if she can come to visit me beforehand because she is besotted with that era.
It has bucked me up with having two nice requests in a week.
I DID say BUCKED me up.
