Still here Maisie...trying to get cataracts removed...NHS cancelled at last minute AGAIN cos of cist on eyelid.
Twice I've been waiting for surgery (Actually sat there waiting to go in) just to be refused at last minute...and of course every time it adds weeks onto waiting.
Am trying to get sorted private at the mo...helluva cost but I'm housebound when the sun shines.
Been waiting since June 6th last year for NHS ...big chunk out my savings private,but got to be done.

Apart from that I'm fine ta....look after yourself. Pooh.

SO sorry to be late getting back to you Pooh and I can understand your frustration with the sodding NHS.
It has really gone down the pan this past few years.
I dread getting any more ruddy infections and finishing up in the hospital because last time I was in they gave me the wrong meds and I finished up with machines all round me.
Its ruddy disgusting though to think you have paid into it all your working life and they keep by passing you and now you are having to use savings to get things sorted out.
