Geriatrics Rave -up

Postby Maywalk » Tue Mar 05, 2019 11:42 am

Looking forward to going here on the said date with my 95 year old ex Land Army friend.
We are even being picked up and taken home afterwards which I think is good of them.

It will do us both good and even if we cant sing now we can still make a noise.
Better than all the ruddy meds.

Sounds like a fun evening, Maisie. It's the kind of event my mother would have enjoyed if she was still around (like your friend, she and her sister were both in the Women's Land Army).

Hope you both have a great time.

There's never anything like that here. It couldn't be better for you for a night out, Maywalk. You'll love it.

Thanks everyone. Yes it sounds as though it will be a great evening and providing nothing untoward happens we are both ready to jitterbug providing we are sitting in our wheelchairs.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner Penny.
I wonder why I never get notification if anyone answers anything I put up.
I always tick the notification box but nothing happens. :dunno:
